The Southeast Queens Community Land Trust 

was incepted in April 2023. 

Our mission is to foster a thriving and equitable community by providing affordable housing options for all generations, including family housing, affordable senior and intergenerational housing including senior housing.  We prioritize entrepreneurship by offering support and resources to local businesses.  

Additionally, we aim to eliminate banking deserts and food deserts by introducing community finance institutions, establishing organic food markets and quality supermarkets in this once underserved area.  We are committed to promoting sustainable urban farming, ensuring access to quality childcare, promoting cutting-edge technology and aviation training centers, supporting workforce development programs, promotion cultural enrichment through cultural centers, preserving open spaces, promoting and facilitating community gatherings and collaboration through meeting centers developing generational wealth.
